This soothing salve is made with ingredients that your skin will love. it is made with wild-harvested Chaparral (Larrea Tridentata), also known as the Creosote bush or greasewood, that I have gathered from my property in Kingman, AZ, and infused on my apothecary workshop for a minimum of 6-8 weeks.
Chaparral is a plant found in the desert Southwest. For centuries, it has been a traditional healing herb used for a variety of topical applications. It is antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory. Chaparral has been used topically to decrease inflammation and pain, and promote healing of minor wounds.
Also blended in the soothing salve is Calendula (Calendula officinalis), and it’s often used as a complementary or alternative treatment. Calendula oil may have anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema,
The nourishing benefits of calendula help to plump the surface of your skin to give you tighter, more supple skin almost instantly. In the long term, both the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help to protect your precious collagen and elastin supply.
